We are pleased to announce our more than 25 years of existence and wish to present our history and our present standing as a company.
We started in 1986 as a small chemical company producing copper phosphide. With this first business line, FOSFOQUIM, then went on to develop several products starting from Phosphorus and today has expanded into Sulfur chemistry.
The incorporation of streamline technologies and the latest innovative focus on mining, agriculture and chemical industrial services, have enabled such achievements, which in the past were only a dream, and have now become into our commitment of customer based continuous innovation.
FOSFOQUIM has shown a constant growth, year after year, in the city of Santiago and throughout the country. In 2006, we expanded our production facilities with a second production plant in the city of Talcahuano, in another Region of the Country. We have been joined by enthusiastic personnel who have the great desire to win and who are committed with the company and the country.
Today, we are over 100 people, committed to contribute and to maintain the company’s leading position, with a clear aim to produce chemicals and equipment at the highest standards, providing the tailored solutions to our customers through our products and services.
As a challenge in the search for new markets, the creation of affiliates in the United States and Argentina has provided satisfactory results. The support that each affiliate team provides is a compliment to the marketing of our products and the application of our technologies. Working jointly and contributing knowledge and commitment creates, as a result, the strengthening of our company.
We owe what we are today to a large extent to the trust that our customers have placed in us. We are grateful of this trust without which we would not be here today. Our customers have shown us confidence, loyalty and preference.
We have many challenges ahead of us. The desire to develop new products and processes that will serve the country’s economy, tailored to our reality, and that full comply with our health, safety and environmental commitments, reflect our Responsible Care Certification, thus exceeding our client’s expectations. We also want to expand our aims in the world, increasing our presence in the lines where we have currently proven competitive and technological sustainable advantages.
