FOSFOQUIM has two productive plants within Chile.
The following compounds are produced in the Padre Hurtado plant facilities:
Phosphorus Pentasulfide.
Copper Phosphide.
Inorganic Thiophosphates (Copper depressants).
Organic Dithiophosphates (Copper collectors).
Phosphorus Trichloride.
Equipment for the application of pure Phosphine is also manufactured in this plant, from where the HDS units are exported to the different markets around the world.
Additionally, this plant has a solid Sodium Hydrosulfide dissolution station as backup for the production of the Talcahuano plant.
The Padre Hurtado Plant has also storage buildings for own product and raw material use, but also to provide storage services for chemical products such as Phosphorus Pentasulfide and Sodium Hydrosulfide.
Within its installations, there is also a quality control laboratory to ensure the quality of the products and of the raw materials.
Additionally, the fumigation service branch, FOSFOQUIM FUMIGATIONS, is also located in this plant where it bases its operations.
The production of Sodium Hydrosulfide is effected in a modern plant in Talcahuano which supplies this product at local and international markets.
